Very important is a home loss of third rankedTijuana Zonkeys (14-10) against fifth ranked Frayles de Guasave (12-10) on Wednesday night. Host Tijuana Zonkeys were defeated by Frayles de Guasave in Tijuana 80-70 . Strangely Tijuana outrebounded Frayles 48-28 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for British V.Islands guard D'Moi Hodge (193-1998, college: Missouri) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Saeed Nelson (188-1998, college: American) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Power forward Alan Olivas-Baca (202-1988) came up with 8 points and 15 rebounds and American forward Jaquan Lightfoot (203, college: Southeastern) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Tijuana in the defeat. Tijuana Zonkeys' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Frayles moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Angeles. Loser Tijuana Zonkeys keeps the third position with ten games lost.
