Very expected game when 7th rankedAbejas (2-8) lost to third ranked Fuerza Regia (8-2) in Leon 62-75 on Friday. American-South Sudanese guard Delicia Washington (178-1997, college: Clemson) nailed 10 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and American forward Breanna Richardson (185-1995, college: MSU) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Fuerza Regia's coach Carlos Alonso used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) came up with 20 points and 4 assists and Spanish center Umo Diallo (193-1998) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Abejas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Fuerza Regia . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Adelitas. Abejas lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Correcaminos and Freseras.
