Rather expected game when 6th rankedToros (13-13) lost on the road to fourth ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (16-12) 90-83 on Tuesday. Tijuana made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. American forward Markedric Bell (203-1999, college: PVAMU) notched 21 points and 9 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and Syrian-American guard Amauri Hardy (188-1998, college: Oregon) supported him with 23 points. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Michael Myers (206-1992, college: UMES, agency: Diamond Sports) did not help to save the game for Toros . The former international Gabriel Giron (192-1988) added 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tijuana and five Toros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tijuana maintains fourth position with 16-12 record. Loser Toros keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Los Mochis.
