Very expected game in Aguascalientes where 5th rankedAbejas (2-10) were crushed by top-ranked Panteras (12-0) 110-65 on Wednesday. Panteras looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Dominican forward Esmery Martinez (188-2000, college: Arizona) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American point guard Dyaisha Fair (165-2001, college: Syracuse) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) who recorded 15 points and 4 assists and Senegalese swingman Yacine Diop (178-1995, college: Louisville) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Panteras have an impressive 11-game winning streak.
