Not a big story in a game when 11th rankedVenados (5-21) lost to fifth ranked Angeles (15-13) in Ciudad de Mexico 80-85 on Wednesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nigerian-American forward Chuba Ohams (206-1997, college: Fordham, agency: Octagon Europe) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and American swingman Trahson Burrell (201-1992, college: Memphis) supported him with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Even a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds by American center Dakota Quinn (206-1997, college: MNU) did not help to save the game for Mazatlan . His fellow American import guard Anthony Nelson (193-1998, college: Manhattan) added 20 points. Four Angeles and five Mazatlan players scored in double figures. Venados' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Angeles maintains fifth position with 15-13 record. Mazatlan lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games.
