There was no surprise in Irapuato where 6th rankedFreseras (2-10) were outplayed by second ranked Adelitas (10-2) 85-61 on Friday. The best player for the winners was American forward Najai Wynn-Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Latvian center Anete Steinberga (191-1990, college: UTEP) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Adelitas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) who recorded 16 points and 7 rebounds and Ghanian-American forward Batabe Zempare (191-1994, college: CSUB, agency: LBM Management) added 13 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Adelitas have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-2 record having just two points less than leader Panteras, which they share with Fuerza Regia. Loser Freseras keep the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Abejas and Santas.
