Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Angeles (18-14) won against on the road 8th ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (13-19) 93-89 on Saturday. Angeles made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Angeles made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Trahson Burrell (201-1992, college: Memphis) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Dayon Griffin (195-1995, college: UCF) who added 17 points during the contest. American guard RJ Felton (190-2002, college: ECU, agency: MSG) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Dutch center Terrence Bieshaar (208-1997, agency: BIG) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Angeles and four Hermosillo players scored in double figures.
