The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedAstros (26-2) in Guadalajara on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by eleventh ranked Venados (6-24) 103-80 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Astros. They outrebounded Astros 38-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American guard Taylor Johnson (193-1994, college: Dartmouth) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Canadian guard Devonte Bandoo (190-1996, college: Baylor) contributed with 29 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Jamaican Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (195-1991, college: Lamar, agency: Network Sports International) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Cuban forward Yoanki Mencia (198-1997) added 15 points in the effort for Astros. Five Mazatlan and four Astros players scored in double figures. Astros' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Mazatlan maintains eleventh place with 6-24 record. Astros at the other side still keep top position with two games lost.
