Very expected game when 11th rankedVenados (6-24) lost to second ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (20-12) in Mazatlan 79-88 on Tuesday. American players dominated the game. Forward Austin Trice (203-2000, college: ODU) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) accounted for 26 points and 10 rebounds. Center Dakota Quinn (206-1997, college: MNU) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Taylor Johnson (193-1994, college: Dartmouth) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Mazatlan in the defeat. Four Obregon and five Mazatlan players scored in double figures. Obregon maintains second place with 20-12 record having two points less than leader Astros. Loser Venados stay dead last with 24 lost games.
