Tenth-rankedOstioneros de Guaymas (12-20) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Astros (26-2). The visitors from Guadalajara managed to secure only three-point victory 87-84 . However their fans expected much easier game. American point guard Trey Burke (183-1992, college: Michigan) stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and Cuban forward Yoanki Mencia (198-1997) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds.
