Rather predictable result when second rankedFuerza Regia (13-3) won against 6th ranked Freseras (4-12) in Irapuato 78-62 on Saturday. Fuerza Regia forced 21 Freseras turnovers. The winners were led by American guard Morgan Jones (188-1999, college: Louisville) who scored that evening 15 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Destiny Pitts (178-1999, college: Texas A&M) supported her with 16 points. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Even 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by Ghanian-American forward Batabe Zempare (191-1994, college: CSUB, agency: LBM Management) did not help to save the game for Freseras . American guard Selena Lott (180-1999, college: Marquette) added 8 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fuerza Regia have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-3 record behind leader Panteras. Loser Freseras keep the sixth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Correcaminos.
