We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th rankedCorrecaminos (4-12) lost to bottom-ranked Abejas (3-13) in Leon 64-82 on Sunday. The winners were led by American forward Liz Scott (188-2001, college: Oklahoma) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) supported her with 17 points and 7 assists. Even 10 points and 5 assists by American point guard Jasmine Thomas (175-1991, college: Michigan St.) did not help to save the game for Correcaminos . Maria Faz added 9 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Correcaminos' coach Jordi Vizcaino tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Abejas maintains eighth position with 3-13 record. Loser Correcaminos dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Freseras.
