There was an upset when higher rankedTijuana Zonkeys (17-17) were edged at home by ninth ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (15-21) 95-93 on Tuesday. Strangely Tijuana outrebounded Hermosillo 51-28 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. American players dominated also this game. It was a great evening for guard RJ Felton (190-2002, college: ECU, agency: MSG) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Kiandre Gaddy (198-2001, college: Tarleton St., agency: BIG) helped adding 23 points. Guard Zhuric Phelps (193, college: Texas A&M, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) responded with 20 points and forward Perry Jones III (211-1991, college: Baylor) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Hermosillo and five Tijuana players scored in double figures. Tijuana Zonkeys' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Hermosillo maintains ninth place with 15-21 record. Tijuana lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 17 games lost.
