No shocking result in a game in Ciudad de Mexico where fourth rankedAngeles (19-17) defeated 9th ranked Toros (15-19) 95-88 on Tuesday. Strangely Toros outrebounded Angeles 42-23 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Angeles looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Jacob Calloway (203-1996, college: SUU) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. His fellow American import guard Terrell Brown (185-1998, college: NM State) helped adding 15 points and 5 assists. American forward Michael Myers (206-1992, college: UMES, agency: Diamond Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Gabriel Giron (192-1988) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Toros' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Angeles maintains fourth place with 19-17 record. Toros lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 19 games lost.
