We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th rankedPioneros Los Mochis (15-17) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (16-20) 94-87 on Wednesday. Culiacan made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Los Mochis turnovers. American players dominated also this game. It was a great evening for point guard Roddy Peters (193-1995, college: Nicholls) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!), 9 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) helped adding 21 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and center Arnett Moultrie (208-1990, college: MSU) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Los Mochis players scored in double figures. Culiacan moved-up to sixth place. Loser Pioneros Los Mochis dropped to the seventh position with 17 games lost.
