Rather predictable result when fifth rankedTijuana Zonkeys (17-17) beat at home 9th ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (15-21) 108-104 on Wednesday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American players dominated also this game. It was a great evening for Akia Pruitt (203-1997, college: UNCP) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Diamond Stone (208-1997, college: Maryland) helped adding 21 points. Forward Kiandre Gaddy (198-2001, college: Tarleton St., agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and guard Donald Carey (196-1999, college: Maryland) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Five Tijuana and four Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Tijuana maintains fifth place with 17-17 record. Loser Rayos de Hermosillo keeps the ninth position with 21 games lost.
