We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th rankedRayos de Hermosillo (16-22) lost at home to tenth ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (15-21) 95-87 on Saturday. Guaymas outrebounded Hermosillo 42-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The winners were led by guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who scored that evening 19 points and 5 assists and forward Max Agbonkpolo (206-2000, college: Montana St.) supported him with 23 points. Agbonkpolo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by guard RJ Felton (190-2002, college: ECU, agency: MSG) did not help to save the game for Hermosillo . Guard Donald Carey (196-1999, college: Maryland) added 18 points and 4 assists. Five Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Guaymas maintains tenth position with 15-21 record. Loser Rayos de Hermosillo keeps the ninth place with 22 games lost.
