There was a minor upset when 6th rankedCaballeros de Culiacan (17-21) lost to ninth ranked Toros (16-20) in Nuevo Laredo 89-102 on Saturday. Caballeros de Culiacan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Toros moved-up to eighth place. Loser Caballeros de Culiacan keeps the sixth position with 21 games lost.
