No shocking result in a game in Mazatlan where ninth rankedToros (17-21) won against bottom-ranked Venados (8-30) 126-115 on Wednesday. Toros shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 51.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) fired a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Avry Holmes (185-1994, college: Clemson) chipped in 30 points and 7 assists. Toros' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Anthony Nelson (193-1998, college: Manhattan) produced 22 points and 5 assists and center Dakota Quinn (206-1997, college: MNU) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Toros and five Mazatlan players scored in double figures. Toros moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Culiacan. Loser Venados stay dead last with 30 lost games.
