This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Leones (2-1) 72-59 on Friday evening. The winners were led by American guard Noah Williams (196-2001, college: JMU) who scored that evening 23 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import power forward Lorenzo Martinez (206-1997, college: Southwestern, KS) supported him with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Martinez is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Leones' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by Puerto Rican guard Ezequiel Colon (193-1999, college: Lehman) did not help to save the game for Tigres . Cuban Emmanuel Calderon (198-1998) added 18 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Leones moved-up to third place, which they share with Brumas and Flecheros. Loser Tigres still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Real Esteli.
