The biggest surprise of round 7 was guestFlecheros ' (3-3) easy road victory over Leones (#5) 88-52 on Thursday evening. Flecheros held Leones to an opponent 24.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Flecheros looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Leones ' players. American forward Glen Rice Jr (198-1991, college: Georgia Tech) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds and Harold Barberena added 5 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Flecheros moved-up to third place, which they share with Costa Caribe. Leones lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Real Esteli.
