Important game to mention about took place in Jinotega. Second rankedBrumas (5-2) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Real Esteli (2-5) 83-80 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Real Esteli. They outrebounded Real Esteli 45-31 including 32 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 11 assists and American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) who added 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Eden Ewing (204-1997, college: Texas Southern) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and scored 18 points. Five Brumas and four Real Esteli players scored in double figures. Brumas maintains second position with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Jaguares. Real Esteli at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost.
