Very expected game in Managua where 6th rankedLeones (3-5) were defeated by second ranked Brumas (6-2) 80-65 on Wednesday. Brumas looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. chipped in 17 points and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Venezuelan center Miguel Bolivar (205-1992) added 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Four Leones players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Brumas maintains second place with 6-2 record having just two points less than leader Jaguares. Leones lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
