Rather expected game when 7th rankedTigres (3-13) lost to fifth ranked Costa Caribe (6-9) in Managua 101-110 on Wednesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Costa Caribe made 7 blocks. notched a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and supported him with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Costa Caribe's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 32 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists by Puerto Rican guard Ezequiel Colon (193-1999, college: Lehman) did not help to save the game for Tigres .
