An interesting game forJaguares (7-5) which hosted in Managua 3rd placed Nicaragua Femenil (8-4). Second ranked Jaguares had an easy win 85-61 . Jaguares outrebounded Nicaragua Femenil 56-35 including a 41-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nicaragua Femenil was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Yayma Boulet stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds for the winners and American forward Mariah Miller (182-1998, college: CSU) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American center Anyia Pride (185-1998, college: Shawnee St., agency: Ladies 1st) with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Honduran guard Nelly Rapalo (173-1999) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Jaguares went down to third position due to points difference. Newly promoted Nicaragua Femenil dropped to the second place with four games lost.
