Very predictable result when seventh rankedTigres (6-2) rolled over 16th ranked Academia PLAV (2-6) in Corinto 82-62 on Saturday. Tigres forced 19 Academia PLAV turnovers and outrebounded them 56-43 including 19 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by Mario Valdez who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Kelvin Espinoza (-2002) supported him with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Even 10 points and 7 rebounds by guard Darwell Lopez (-2003) did not help to save the game for Academia PLAV . Marvin Castaneda added 10 points and 6 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigres have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 6-2 record.
