Not a big story in a game when 9th rankedAmericas 2 (3-4) was outscored by seventh ranked Brumas (6-1) in Managua 90-57 on Saturday. The winners were led by international Juan Herrera (187-1996) who scored that evening 19 points and 5 rebounds and forward Jose Martinez (-2003) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Brumas players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds by the former international forward Troy Andrews (196-2000) did not help to save the game for Americas 2 . Jovanni Serrano added 6 points for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Brumas have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Real Esteli. Loser Americas 2 dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with La Libertad.
