No shocking result in a game in Corinto where eighth rankedTigres (8-5) smashed 15th ranked Frente (3-8) 111-75 on Sunday. Tigres forced 33 Frente turnovers and outrebounded them 64-39 including a 33-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tigres looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Frente 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tigres made 7 blocks. The former international Dwight Real (-1997) scored 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Kelvin Espinoza (-2002) chipped in 16 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. Kurlam Chamorro (189-1989) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Jason Cortez (-1999) scored 7 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigres moved-up to seventh place.
