There was a minor upset in Managua where 16th rankedUNAN de (3-9) was defeated by eighteenth ranked Los Bufalos (4-10) 98-88 on Sunday. Los Bufalos forced 20 UNAN de turnovers. Strangely UNAN de outrebounded Los Bufalos 53-38 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Jerssan Espinoza responded with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals and American point guard Jordan Ramirez (178) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Los Bufalos moved-up to fifteenth place. Loser UNAN de M. dropped to the seventeenth position with nine games lost. They share it with San Isidro.
