There was no surprise in Esteli where 16th rankedFrente (3-9) was outplayed by eighth ranked La Trinidad (9-6) 113-79 on Sunday. La Trinidad outrebounded Frente 50-30 including a 39-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. La Trinidad shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Frente 's players. Humberto Mairena fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. point guard Mario Garcia (182-2000) chipped in 16 points and 8 assists. Four La Trinidad players scored in double figures. Luis Urbina (180-2001) produced 17 points and 4 assists and Ervin Mora added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.
