No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedLa Trinidad (10-6) smashed on the road 19th ranked Leon (2-13) 105-51 on Sunday. La Trinidad dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Leon 's 22. They outrebounded Leon 51-32 including a 39-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. La Trinidad looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Leon 's players. Point guard Mario Garcia (182-2000) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winners and Luder Hernandez (195-1995) chipped in 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Four La Trinidad players scored in double figures. Juan Morales responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Wilfredo Barreto scored 11 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for La Trinidad . They maintain seventh place with 10-6 record. Leon lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the nineteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Academia PLAV.
