The most exciting game of round 20 in the TBN took place in Managua. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengersLeones (16-3) to fifth ranked UAM Univ. (17-4) 75-72 in the game for the third place. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Sharlon Hodgson (183-1994) who scored 30 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Shaen McMeo (-2006) chipped in 16 points and 4 steals. Elijah Allen produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Angel Fernandez (-2004) added 8 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. UAM Univ. moved-up to third place. Leones at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Flecheros.
