There was an upset when second-rankedDragones (7-3) were defeated on the road by bottom-ranked Union Scorpions (1-9) 107-89 on Sunday. Jhonny Murillo stepped up and scored 44 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners and Luis Poyatos (180-2007) chipped in 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
