Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Asuncion:Colonias (#2) and Felix Perez (#4). Colonias (9-2) smashed visiting Felix Perez (6-4) by 18 points 84-66 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Felix Perez. They outrebounded Felix Perez 37-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Juan Poisson (198-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Samuel Givens (198-1989, college: Drexel) who added 15 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Colonias players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Dominique Morrison (198-1989, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) with 19 points and Anthony Strings scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Colonias maintains second position with 9-2 record having just two points less than leader Olimpia K., which they share with San Jose. Felix Perez at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost.
