Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Asuncion:Olimpia K. (#1) and Ciudad N. (#8). Olimpia K. (12-0) crushed visiting Ciudad N. (1-11) by 31 points 104-73 . Olimpia K. forced 24 Ciudad N. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Ciudad N. 's players. American power forward Jeremiah Wood (201-1985) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Danjel Purifoy (201-1995, college: Auburn, agency: Helping Ballers) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Olimpia K. players scored in double figures. Carlos Lopez came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and Elias Martinez added 15 points and 6 assists respectively for Ciudad N. in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Olimpia K. . Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. Ciudad N. lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost.
