Regular Season Round 2: San Jose - Ciudad N. 91-67

Date: April 16, 2026
Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Asuncion: San Jose and Ciudad N.. San Jose smashed visiting Ciudad N. by 24 points 91-67. San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ciudad N.'s 28. They outrebounded Ciudad N. 47-28 including a 39-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Robin Perry notched 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and international forward Franco Benitez (199-1994) supported him with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Four San Jose players scored in double figures. Even 15 points by Michael Kamary did not help to save the game for Ciudad N.. Mccry Fenner added 10 points and 4 assists for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Jose's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Colonias.
