Regular Season Round 6: San Jose - Campo Alto 86-68

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Asuncion:San Jose (#3) and Campo Alto (#5). San Jose (4-1) smashed visiting Campo Alto (2-4) by 18 points 86-68 . It was a good game for international forward Franco Benitez (199-1994) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Robin Perry contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international center Guillermo Araujo (204-1982) replied with 22 points and Jose Dos Santos added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Campo Alto. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San Jose moved-up to second place, which they share with Colonias. Campo Alto at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. San Jose will play against Amambay (#5) in the next round. Campo Alto's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Colonias.
