Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Asuncion:Olimpia K. (#1) and Felix Perez (#4). Felix Perez was defeated at home 77-86 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Olimpia K. forced 19 Felix Perez turnovers and had a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Olimpia K. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Jeremiah Wood (201-1985) notched 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international point guard Edgar Riveros (184-1991) supported him with 11 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Five Olimpia K. players scored in double figures. Even 23 points and 8 rebounds by Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-1988) did not help to save the game for Felix Perez . Argentinian Fabio Gauto (190-2002) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olimpia K. (9-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Felix Perez lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Amambay and Campo Alto.
