Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Montevideo:Aguada (#8) and Bigua (#7). Aguada (3-2) crushed visiting Bigua (2-3) by 21 points 88-67 . Aguada outrebounded Bigua 44-29 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Aguada looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 assists for the winners and naturalized Argentinian power forward Agustin Zuvich (201-1995) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Aguada players scored in double figures. American forward Josh Cunningham (203-1996, college: Dayton) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Matias Espinosa (186-2004) scored 9 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aguada have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cordon. Loser Bigua keeps the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Penarol.
