Regular Season Round 7: Hebraica - Aguada 83-102

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo:Aguada (#4) and Hebraica (#3). Hebraica was crushed at home by 19 points 83-102 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Aguada players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Franklin Hassell (205-1988, college: ODU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. American-Mexican forward Daviyon Draper (200-1994, college: FIU) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Skyler Hogan (196-1997, college: SEMO) added 20 points and 6 assists respectively for Hebraica in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aguada (5-2) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion (5-2) moved-up to second place. Hebraica at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost.
