Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:Nacional (#1) and Bigua (#8). Nacional (11-0) won against visiting Bigua (4-7) 97-82 . Nacional forced 19 Bigua turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Nacional players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) nailed 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Gaston Semiglia (186-1991) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists. Four Nacional players scored in double figures. Alex Lopez (186-1993) came up with 19 points and American forward Josh Cunningham (203-1996, college: Dayton) added 4 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Bigua in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Nacional . They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Bigua at the other side keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Cordon.
