No shocking result in a game when first rankedNacional (19-2) crushed 10th ranked Urunday (6-14) in Montevideo 99-79 on Monday. Nacional looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and forward Bernardo Barrera (200-1997) accounted for 18 points. Argentinian-American Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for Urunday in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Nacional . They maintain first place with 19-2 record. Urunday lost their ninth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Urupan.
