Eleventh-rankedTrouville (4-17) gave a tough game to second ranked Aguada (17-4) in Montevideo on Thursday. The visitors managed to secure only two-point victory 77-75 . However their fans expected much easier game. American center Franklin Hassell (205-1988, college: ODU) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American center Ricardo Glenn (206-1990, college: USC Upstate) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Santiago Fernandez (186-2000) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aguada have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 17-4 record having just two points less than leader Nacional. Trouville lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 17 games lost.
