Very important is a road loss of second rankedLagomar (3-1) against twelfth ranked Marne (1-2) on Tuesday night. Visiting Lagomar was defeated by Marne in Montevideo 87-73 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lagomar. Marne made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Miguel Barriola (193-1990) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jacob Ledoux (190-1997, college: UTPB, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) during the contest. At the losing side forward Santiago Moglia (196-1989) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American point guard Jamal Hartwell II (180-1999, college: UC Riverside) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Marne left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Montevideo and Yale. Loser Lagomar keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
