Regular Season Round 7: Yale - Lagomar 55-61

Yale (6-1) recorded its first loss in Montevideo on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Lagomar (4-2) 61-55. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Yale. Lagomar forced 22 Yale turnovers. Belen Moreira (-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Paraguayan forward Natalia Quevedo (170-1998) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Lara Barbato (181-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Paula Fernandez (178-2005) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Yale's coach Gino Alderete rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lagomar moved-up to fourth place. Yale at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with D.Sporting.
