Regular Season Round 9: Stockolmo - Marne 99-103

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo:Marne (#8) and Stockolmo (#6). Stockolmo was defeated at home 99-103 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Marne shot 28 for 39 from the free-throw line, while Stockolmo only scored twelve points from the stripe. Marne players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Stockolmo was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Jacob Ledoux (190-1997, college: UTPB, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) nailed a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and point guard Andres Aristimuno (184-1992) accounted for 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Marne's coach Fabian Narbais allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Emiliano Bonet (186-2001) came up with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Tomas de Leon (195-1999) added 20 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Stockolmo in the defeat. Five Marne and four Stockolmo players scored in double figures. Marne (4-4) moved-up to seventh place. Stockolmo at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost.
