No shocking result in a game in Montevideo where third rankedVerdirrojo (7-2) smashed 10th ranked Tabare (3-7) 90-62 on Friday. Verdirrojo made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game, while Tabare only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Tabare 40-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Verdirrojo looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Tabare 's players. Forward Federico Haller (200-1988) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Agustin Cabillon (198-1995) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest (made all of his eight free throws). Four Verdirrojo players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Federico Ambrosoni (183-1999) responded with 15 points and American center Taylor Adway (205-1996, college: Ferris St.) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds.
