Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:D.Sporting (#1) and Lagomar (#5). D.Sporting (11-1) won against visiting Lagomar (5-7) 58-50 . Argentinian Camila Suarez (178-2000) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds. Center Josefina Rivera (177-1998) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four D.Sporting players scored in double figures. Belen Moreira (-1999) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and Paraguayan forward Natalia Quevedo (170-1998) added 13 points in the effort for Lagomar. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. D.Sporting have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-1 record. Lagomar at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Urunday.
