Cordon has finally registered their first victory this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Welcome (0-5) 98-81 on Wednesday. Cordon looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Admon Gilder (193-1995, college: Gonzaga) who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. The other American import forward Bryce Beamer (197-1998, college: FMU) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. Cordon's coach Agustin Esteve used entire bench saving starting five for next games.
