Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:Nacional (#3) and Defensor (#2). Nacional (4-1) smashed visiting Defensor (3-2) by 19 points 80-61 . It was a key game for the second position in the league. American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and naturalized Italian point guard Luciano Parodi (182-1994) supported him with 20 points. Four Nacional players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 9 rebounds by Venezuelan center Nestor Colmenares (200-1987, college: Campbellsville) did not help to save the game for Defensor . Guard Facundo Terra (187-1998) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nacional have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Defensor at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with 5 other teams.
